Everyone has an organizational thread(personal roster), where you also track your current roster (good to double-check against us admins), as well as your contact info, as well as any other things you feel you want to include.
- Each one of you is responsible for making your necessary moves on Yahoo, When you make a move, remember to edit the appropriate thread to accommodate the move.
3. Rosters
- The roster format is : 3 C, 3 RW, 3 LW, 6 D, 2 G, and 13 Bench, for a total of 30 players
- You MUST always have at least $0.5 for each empty roster spot (ex. roster of 25 has to have $2.5 unused cap room)
4. Salary Cap
- Each team will have $100,000,000 to spend per season.
- Players salaries will escalate at a rate of 10% from season to season for players who are on multi-year contracts (30% resigning terminating contracts and 50% when resigning terminating contracts of rookies).
-A drafted rookie is a player obtained during the yearly draft held in July.
-A drafted rookie earns $1 until the end of the season in which he plays his 82nd NHL game for forwards(goalies 50 games). He can be resigned for the following season at a 50% salary increase($1 x 1.5=$1.5), or released to Free Agency.
- When escalating contracts, salaries will always be rounded up to the nearest $250,000
- Players can be signed to deals ranging in length from 1 to 4 years
- If a team ever goes over the cap, they will get their most recent transactions undone until they become cap compliant. If a recent transaction includes a player who was won in an auction, then that player will be put back up for auction
